Wadurs Swimming Pool

Welcome to Wadurs Swimming Pool, the heart of swimming in Shoreham-by-Sea. Our 25-metre, 5-lane heated pool is perfect for all ages and abilities – from family fun swims to serious training sessions. With a shallow end of 0.8m for beginners and a deep end of 1.8m for confident swimmers, everyone can enjoy the water in comfort, thanks to our pleasant 28–29°C temperature.

We’re proud to offer swimming lessons for children and adults, led by qualified instructors who make learning to swim safe, supportive, and enjoyable. Whether you’re taking your very first strokes, improving your technique, or training for fitness, our swim school has a class for you.

For your convenience, lockers are available – please bring your own padlock. We recommend booking swimming sessions and lessons online in advance to secure your place.

Swimming Lessons

These sessions are taught by our highly qualified instructors and run every day of the week during term time. Lessons are approx. 20-25 minutes long, in a 30 minute time-slot. Aquaschool is included within the Junior FIT4 Membership.

Wadurs Swimming Pool offers a warm welcome to everyone – with public swimming available and no membership required.  We run a wide range of activities, including aqua fitness classes, swim coaching for all levels, and parent and preschool sessions to help little ones build water confidence. For a truly memorable celebration, we also host fun-filled birthday pool parties.  Wadurs Swimming Pool is your local destination for swimming, water-based fitness, and unforgettable family experiences

How to find us

Car Parking

There are a number of Parking Bays outside the centre, including two disabled bays.

Public Transport

The closest train station to Wadurs is Southwick Train Station, which is a 25 minute walk away from the centre. Services call at Southwick station regularly from Chichester, Angmering, Littlehampton, Lancing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Hove and Brighton as well as many other destinations.

The Holmbush Centre bus stop is a 5 minute walk from Wadurs Swimming Pool.

From Arundel, Littlehampton, Angmering & Worthing Stagecoach’s Number 9 bus runs to the Holmbush Centre, View the timetable here

From Shoreham, Compass Travel runs a regular Number 19 bus to the Holmbush Centre, View the timetable here

From Brighton, Hove & Portslade, Brighton & Hove busses run the Number 2 & 46 to the Holmbush centre, View the timetable here
