As the largest facility in the South Downs Leisure family, Worthing Leisure Centre offers an impressive range of fitness, sport, and community amenities all under one roof.
At the core is our spacious sports hall, with 10 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts, and flexible space for netball, volleyball, and more. You’ll also find a fully equipped gym, dedicated weights room, state-of-the-art indoor cycling studio, and multiple fitness studios running classes throughout the week.
Outdoors, enjoy our athletics track and floodlit 3G football pitches, perfect for both casual play and club training. We also offer a unique pole fitness studio for those seeking something different.
Families are well catered for with an on-site creche, friendly café, and welcoming community atmosphere. Our function room is available for parties, wedding celebrations, wakes and corporate events, making the centre a hub for both health and celebrations.
Worthing Leisure Centre Redevelopment
South Downs Leisure has approved a £2 million investment to redevelop key areas of the centre. This major investment will modernise facilities, improve the experience for our customers and staff, and ensure the centre remains fit for purpose for the long term.
The redevelopment works are planned to be delivered in stages, with a start date proposed for May 2026, to minimise disruption and keep services running wherever possible. The full programme of works is expected to take around 28 weeks in total. Stage 1 will focus on the gym and Amazon Adventure soft play areas and is expected to take approximately 15 weeks.
