Important Pool Update – Splashpoint Leisure Centre

Please note that the Leisure Pool at Splashpoint Leisure Centre will be temporarily closed until 15:30 on Wednesday 9th July due to urgent, unscheduled maintenance.

We are working diligently to resolve the issue and ensure the pool is fully safe and ready for your return. All other facilities, including the main pool, gym, and studios, remain open as usual.

Temporary Café Closures – Worthing Leisure Centre & Lancing Manor Leisure Centre (Friday 4th July 2025)

Please note that the cafés at Worthing Leisure Centre and Lancing Manor Leisure Centre are currently closed.

Both cafés will reopen with a limited service on Monday 14th July, with full services returning in due course. In the meantime, vending machines are available at both sites for snacks and refreshments.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by these short-notice closures and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back when the cafés reopen on Monday 14th July.

Customer Information – Splashpoint Leisure Centre Changing Village upgrades. 

We’re upgrading our lockers and toilet facilities in the Changing Village to improve your experience. Work will begin on Monday 16th June, starting with the removal and replacement of Locker Lines 1 & 2 and nearby cubicles. As part of this project, the Male and Disabled toilets will also be closed for two weeks. During this time, the Female toilet will operate as a Unisex toilet.

To minimise disruption, parts of the Changing Village will be closed off, but at least four locker lines and one toilet will remain open throughout. We encourage you to arrive beach ready and use the café foyer toilets before entering the Changing Village if possible.

We expect all works to be completed by Friday 11th July. The remaining locker lines are scheduled for upgrade in 2026. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience – we’re sure you’ll love the improvements once they’re complete.

12/5 – Customer information – Changes to Reception at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre Reception 

Adur District Council are pleased to confirm that they will be making significant changes to the Reception area, specifically the badly leaking roof and windows and unsuitable access doors.

Preparations, initial deliveries etc will start on Thursday May 22nd.

The work on the actual structure is due to commence on May 27th and it is anticipated it will last approximately 16 weeks.

The plans on display in LMLC hopefully give some idea as to what the area will look like, but from an operational perspective, while the works take place we will be looking to remain open as normal.

Access will need to be via the doors on the Western/Manor Ground side of the building and due to the noise that will inevitably accompany works of this nature, some of the regular Studio 2 classes will need to be relocated to either the cycle studio or the squash court.

We will be having regular Friday catch ups with the contractors and will post updates on progress and the planned work for the week or two that immediately follow.
