Here’s everything you need to know to get started and make the most of your FIT4 membership.
Get Started with the South Downs Leisure App
The South Downs Leisure App is your ultimate companion for managing your membership, booking sessions, and staying up-to-date with classes and activities. How to set it up:
- Download the app from your preferred app store.
- Tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.
- Search for and add the centres you wish to use—this ensures you can see all classes and sessions available across our locations.
- Navigate to the South Downs Leisure page for a full overview of everything we offer.
- Log in to your FIT4 account by heading to the profile tile.

Booking Your Activities
With your FIT4 membership, booking sessions is quick and easy:
- Head to the ‘Book Now’ tile in the app to browse and book activities and classes.
- For court bookings (badminton, squash, etc.), the person who books the court must check in via the app to avoid fines.
Important reminders:
- Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before the session start time to avoid a Strike, Three Strikes will result in a £3.00 fine.
- For any booking issues, email us at no-shows@southdownsleisure.co.uk.
Access Control System
Our access control system ensures a smooth experience and prevents overcrowding.
- Use the app to scan the QR code or NFC chip at turnstiles or session entry points. This marks your attendance and grants access to your booked session.
- If you don’t have a smartphone, you can still check in manually at our reception desks.

Worthing Leisure Centre
One of the largest multi-purpose centres in the area, offering a gym, fitness classes, racquet sports, and more.
Splashpoint Leisure Centre
with a spacious gym, swimming pools, fitness studios, and even a health suite.
Lancing Manor Leisure Centre
Home to top-notch Technogym equipment, a variety of fitness classes, and space for racquet sports and team games.
Southwick Leisure Centre
Boasting a state of the art gym by Inspace Fitness, group exercise classes, Tennis and more.
Wadurs Swimming Pool
A fantastic spot in Shoreham for swimming, and swimming lessons.
Field Place Manor House & Barns
Our showcase wedding venue primiarly used for wellness activities,outdoor activities and more relaxed community events.
Palatine Park Football Centre
A dedicated football facility for matches, training, and events, now offering classes in the club house such as yoga.
Sea Lanes Brighton
Enjoy off-peak swimming access from 10:00–15:00, Monday to Friday at this stunning outdoor pool right on Brighton’s seafront. Perfect for open water swimmers or anyone looking to unwind with a seaside swim.

Our Gyms are equiped with Inspace fitness equipment at Worthing Leisure Centre, Splashpoint Leisure Centre, and Southwick Leisure Centre, paired with Technogym equipment at Lancing Manor Leisure Centre, providing state-of-the-art facilities to elevate your workouts.

If you’re new to the gym or looking to refresh your routine, we recommend booking a gym induction with one of our expert fitness advisors. During your session, they’ll:
- Walk you through all our Inspace Fitness equipment, showing you how to use everything safely and effectively.
- Guide you on using weights and machines with the proper form to prevent injury and maximise results.
- Create a small personalised fitness plan if needed tailored to your goals, whether you’re aiming to build strength, lose weight, or simply stay active.
We cater to all fitness levels, offering options to suit your schedule and preferences:
- A 3-day or 4-day split for more structured routines.
- A 30-minute quick workout—perfect for squeezing in a speedy session or getting back into fitness.

Give Our Classes a Go—300+ Weekly to Choose From!
While some prefer to go solo at the gym, trying a class is a fantastic way to learn new techniques, stay motivated, and enjoy the social side of fitness. From Les Mills and This Girl Can to pole fitness and group cycle, there’s something for everyone!
Feeling nervous? Take a friend, have a chat with the instructor, and pick a spot where you feel comfortable. Remember, even the most advanced participants were once beginners.
For the Little Ones
Bee Fit sessions, Family Trampoling,Amazon Adventure,Aquaschool and more are all included in the Junior FIT4 Membership!
Bee-fit is a fun fitness class for toddlers. Each 45 minute session includes songs, parachute games, fitness circuits, relays and lots of fun!
Family Trampolining for the whole family this summer, for individuals 2+.
Amazon Adventure, this indoor play area within Worthing Leisure Centre provides jungle themed fun for toddlers and children in a safe and supervised environment.
Aquaschool is our swim school at Splashpoint Leisure Centre and Wadurs, aimed to cater to all abilities and get your child water confident, all included in Junior FIT4.
Book via our AppOff peak racquet sports, Coffee mornings & Coached sessions
Try your hand at squash, tennis, or badminton—accessible to all fitness levels. These fast-paced activities target multiple muscle groups, improve agility and endurance, and burn calories while keeping workouts fun.
From Off Peak court hire so you can play with up to 3 friends, to coached sessions to coffee mornings, theres a multitude of sessions to choose from with FIT4.
